Every time I hear someone say, or want to say myself, that the pastor or worship team did a "good job" or something like that it always gives me a queasy feeling inside.
My innards always say to me that they are not there for your critique. If that is the only thing you walked away with that you missed something.
Should not it be more like “WOW, that sermon really spoke to me” or “WOW, I really felt the presents of God during worship”?
Is it just me or does anyone else get that feeling?

A very good point! My wife and I sing in our church. Often when we do duets or solos, people mention that we did a good job. I thank them but always point to him and give thanks to God. Our voices are God given, and are to be used to Praise God. It is important not to ever take credit for what he has created.
